Membership

Who can join?

Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18 who meets the BSAC medical requirements. There is a youth membership programme available for those between 14 and 18 years.

How do I join?

Email us at or come along to the club night on a Thursday evening to find out more.

What does club membership cover?

As a member of the club you are able to join our regular UK dives and international trips.

You also get access to the club compressor and boat although there are small additional usage fees for both.

The club provides training, following the BSAC scheme, and has a team of experienced instructors who will teach you to dive and develop your skills.

Membership Fees

As we are a branch of the BSAC you need to join BSAC as well as the club itself.

Club membership: £80.00 per year
BSAC membership: £59.50 per year

Benefits of Joining BSAC

BSAC membership allows you to qualify for an internationally recognised diving qualification. You also get free third party insurance for your diving trips, a year’s subscription to the BSAC magazine, Scuba, and discounts from the BSAC online shop.

Getting involved with the club

We’re a club that’s run on a voluntary basis, and we encourage everyone to get involved in one way or another. There are lots of ways to get involved, from joining the committee that runs the club, organising trips or contributing to the club website.

And of course as well as the diving there are social events!
